No need of boiling and then transferring in cold water. Just lightly boil with green chillies and blend it. This will retain the spinach nutritional value. Rest you can follow as he said.

Wouldn't transferring the cooked spinach to the ice cold water leach the spinach of nutrients? Surely, the spinach can be steamed lightly as the leaves are very delicate. But thanks for the great videos. Very helpful indeed.

i tried your palak paneer...it was very tasty..my children loved it...i followed aĺl your steps to make the palak as green as it can b BUT!!!even then it lost it green colour...i think you used green color to make it.... nevermind...the it was really delicious..thankyou for d recipe

i'm glad to hear your kids loved it, at restaurants, for green option, buy fresh palak, use the blanch method i taught in this video, don't over cook the palak, and instead of tomato masala we added, you add curd + cream, hope this helps :-)

That's a very good flavour balance my friend, and a credit to you that you explained the prep so well. However, I would suggest that you should not instruct people to toss the water (used to boil the spinach) down the sink... seriously, put it back in the garden at the very least, or use it as the base of a stock or gravy.... Why throw all those nutrients away?

Excellent, I boil green chilies along palak & use only one tomato while cooking ,later on squeeze some lemon juice to the gravy so paradise palak paneer ready :-) :-)
