It's always entertaining and instructive to watch your videos. From this one I learned of the existence of that cool riveting machine and it's given me a lot of ideas on what I could do with it. Congrats on your 1 mil achievement! Great quality content, and the amenable way in which you present it is priceless. All the best!

Should have soldered the heat sink to the copper plate or used some Galinstan. And while he was at it put some of that stuff on the chip.

You are so talented man! No stone un-turned! You have inspired me to go after making the smallest possible fully passive 775 board with a q9650 and to see how up to date I can get it with cables. I will not even show the rear of the board I will only get male to female adapters fore the stuff on the rear of the board I do want and put it where I want them... I am not sure how I will get it fully passive though, how to connect two+ aftermarket coolers?.. Maybe bring that plug thru the metal sheet at the rear with a mid gap rubber type piece so it looks factory as everything else does? It is a shame but this is indeed Brilliant! :)

you did all this... and you have to take it apart to plug your monitor in? seriously? you couldn't go a little extra and remote an HDMI or DP port? i did that for a raspberry pi and you can't do it on a multi thousand dollar work of art like this?

at end .. ;) .. may be already said in those comments (??) but at first sight is that the coolers lattes (radiators) are just in a non-sense position !! Normally to coOl the metal, the air is passing around .. and air-flow from fresh to hot and yep cool-down the lattes temperature.. down to up flow ;) Then this will be more a motorbike engine than a caffee truck ;) So just have to turn those about 90° (from front axe) to get surely a really higher cooled PC ;)

I have seen some of your earlier work but this is was some impeccable craftsmanship. Really loved how you actually mcgyvered that d15 to cool the worst cooled 1080ti after msi armor. I am a bit concerned with mobo vrm, chipset, ram and m.2 temps though. Custom watercooling was the way to go imo. But really, please, it is just impossible to talk shit about what you did.

Absolutely beautiful build! Thanks to you I build my first PC in years. One big issue I found with the SSD was the fact that the motherboard shares the heatsink with z370 chip. They both get really hot under normal load. You can't even use the one in the back of the MB since it's not PCIe only. I switched to u2 OPTANE. Thanks again! Love your work.

Very cool and this guy clearly has a lot of skill. But I just couldn't build a PC out of wood. Just wouldn't be able to bring myself to do it. Electronics surrounded by wood? Gonna have to pass on that one. But I'd love to replicate that cool looking design out of aluminum.
