I got here from a farming simulator video, and I wasn't disappointed. Loved seeing the real life machines working and doing their thing. Can't wait to watch more of your videos dude. There's so much more to these things than meets the eye.

amazing how much work has to be done before you even sit in the cab to harvest.... Farming Simulator doesn't do it justice lol. Thanks for sharing your day! Are you a first generation farmer or is a family tradition? Hope you had a bumper harvest.

Wow -- when I was researching my book Midwest Maize, I saw a lot of corn heads in action, from both inside and outside the cab, but I didn't see the corn heads being put on the combines. Thanks for the insight into that surprisingly involved process. Remarkable. (And hope the rest of the harvest went well.)

My subsistence farming peasant grandfather would be perplexed by modern farming methods. He got most of his income from selling goats, sheep, and occasionally cattle to the monthly cattle market.

holy fuck what farmers put up with to run john deere equipment..lmao.. between using way more fuel and doing a worse job then on top of that the maintenance and all the adjustments are brutal.. watching all the manual things you have to fiddle with and change around when you can do all that with switches on a claas on the same year or even older machine

7:58 As my previous comment said, I have not a clue about anything farming or it's equipment but it seems like they should have either a button to push in order to lower the "snoutes"(if I spelled it correct?) or a exterior lever to lower all of them at the same time.

Do y’all plant your corn before beans? Reason I ask is y’all have beans and corn ready at the same time. Here in Mississippi where my family farms we have almost never have beans and corn ready at the same time and it’s usually a good 2-3 weeks after finish corn that the beans get ready to harvest.
